The tour begins from the cultural hub of Cochin, moving to picturesque hills of Munnar to the tropical evergreen and deciduous forest of Periyar / Thekkady. Later enter into a peaceful slumber of the houseboat cruise on the backwaters. Last but never the least enjoy the calm Marari beach that lies on relatively undiscovered shore between the renowned backwaters of Alleppey and Cochin.

Itinerary
Day 1 - : Cochin to Munnar
Welcome to God’s Own Country! Upon your arrival at the Cochin International Airport, you
will be warmly greeted and you will be driven to Munnar the Nature Lover’s Paradise also
known as ‘Kashmir of South India’. Enroute visit Cheeyappara & Valara waterfalls and
Karadipara View Point. Also you can enjoy Spice plantations, Rubber Plantations, Pineapple
garden etc. Then check-in into the hotel and rest of the day at leisure, Overnight at
Munnar.
Day 2 - Munnar
Munnar has something special for everyone. The tea gardens are a part of any Munnar
itinerary. Watch various steps of tea production in the tea factories right from plucking
leaves to sorting, drying and grinding them. Rajamalai Wildlife Sanctuary — Around is 17
km from Munnar, the Sanctuary lodges deer, bison and elephants. You can opt for trekking
in this sanctuary. Next, visit to Eravikulam National Park (open as per the directions by the
forest authorities), sheltering endangered Nilgiri tahrs, which are seen only in Munnar and
some isolated pockets along the Nilgiri biosphere. Mattupetty Lake, a man-made lake
formed by a small hydro electricity dam is another popular tourist spot in Munnar. Tucked in
steep slopes and thick woods, the dam draws a lot of tourists. Overnight in Munnar.
Day 3 - Munnar to Thekkady
After breakfast checkout from hotel and drive to Thekkady also known as Periyar. Periyar
Wildlife Sanctuary is one of the world's most fascinating natural wildlife reserves. Enroute
visit Gap Road, Anayirangal Dam, Spice Plantations etc. Arrive and check in to the hotel.
Afternoon boating (on own) at man made lake and this is the only wildlife sanctuary in India
where you can have the unique experience of viewing wildlife at close from the safety of a
boat on the lake. The probable animals to watch are Bison, Gaur, Wild Elephants, Sambhar
and a wide variety of birds. Evening free for shopping. Overnight in Thekkady.
Day 4 - Thekkady - Alleppey
After the breakfast at the Thekkady hotel/resort, you will be checked-out and driven
towards Alleppey, the Backwater Destination of Kerala. Also known as the ‘Venice of the
East’. Take a cruise (Optional – Own Cost) through the backwater. You will be cruising along
the village sides and paddy fields witnessing the core life of the Kerala villages. It will be a
unique and exclusive experience in your lifetime. Overnight stay at Alleppey.
Day 5 - Alleppey to Cochin Airport
Morning after breakfast proceed to Cochin Airport or railway station for onward journey.
